MiC 4.0 at the "Construction Machinery Technology Day 2025" in Berlin
On 5 June 2025, everything in Berlin revolved around digitalization and sustainability in the construction industry - at the "Construction Machinery Technology Day 2025", organized by Bauverlag BV GmbH. MiC 4.0 was there as a growing working group for the standardization of machine data.
In his presentation "MiC 4.0: Standardized construction machinery and process data - the path to the networked construction site" , Sebastian Siegmund impressively demonstrated to the specialist audience how standardized data formats create the basis for the digital construction site of the future.
Ralf Lüddemann, Member of the Executive Board of STRABAG AG, opened the event with a technical presentation that provided the framework for the content. Dirk Siewert from the German Construction Industry Federation (HDB) moderated. The HDB is a strategic partner of the MiC 4.0 working group and supports the initiative in implementing its goals.
A particular highlight was the presentation of the "Construction Equipment List 2025", a practical industry compendium that is updated every five years and serves as an important reference for the construction industry.
The MiC 4.0 team is delighted to have been part of this industry get-together.
