Cluster 7 Attachments – Clear Guidelines for Collaboration 

In a first workshop at the end of January 2023, the Cluster-7 members agreed on a joint binding guideline to ensure good cooperation and communication.  

The participants also had the opportunity to discuss the latest prototypes of the attachment and machine protocol, which had been exhibited at bauma, in detail once again. The first official version 1.0.0 is scheduled to be released in mid-2023, complete with the required functional safety and documentation.  

With around 30 participants, this event was very successful and contributed to efficiently guiding future projects and initiatives towards their goals with mutual understanding.  

The MiC 4.0 workshop on February 15, 2023, dealt with Earthmoving work and Road construction.

Two clusters – one result

On February 15, members of Cluster 1, Earthmoving Machinery, and Cluster 4, Road Construction Machinery, jointly identified process data to be worked on for the first time in a workshop. To allow for more intensive engagement with the tasks, they formed four sub-clusters. The international event was well-attended with 35 participants and a large proportion of construction companies. Further workshops will follow.
